    Harmony Hall was acquired in 1980 by Annabella Proudlock, who, with a group of friends, spent a year restoring the mid-19th century Methodist manse to its original glory.

    Devon House

    One of Jamaica’s most celebrated historic landmarks, the Devon House Mansion is the architectural dream of Jamaica’s first black millionaire, George Stiebel. Having gained his wealth from gold mining in South America, Stiebel was among three wealthy Jamaicans who constructed elaborate homes during the late 19th century at the corner of Trafalgar Road and Hope Road. This corner fittingly became known as the Millionaire’s Corner.

    Bob Marley Museum

    The museum is situated on the site of the legendary musician’s home, which he purchased in 1975. This house, featuring 19th-century architecture, was Marley’s home until his transition in 1981. It was converted into a museum six years later by his wife, Mrs Rita Marley. The main museum displays Marley’s personal treasures.



    Dolphin Cove

    Bob Marley Museum/Big Yard

    It’s 15.3 km from Callie’s, taking a 1/2 hour drive. The museum is located on the grounds of the home Bob Marley purchased in 1975. A typical tour covers the main house, the grounds, the Exhibition Hall, the theatre, the gift shop, and the Café. It’s open every day except for Sundays and major holidays.

     



    Trench Town, Culture Yard

    Trench Town is where Bob & Rita Marley lived when the Wailers were formed and their first album Catch A Fire was recorded. Located at 6 and 8 Lower First Street, Trench Town, Culture Yard is a must-see if you’re a Marley fan. It’s 13.7 km away from Callie’s and can be reached in a 16-minute drive.
