It’s 15.3 km from Callie’s, taking a 1/2 hour drive. The museum is located on the grounds of the home Bob Marley purchased in 1975. A typical tour covers the main house, the grounds, the Exhibition Hall, the theatre, the gift shop, and the Café. It’s open every day except for Sundays and major holidays.
Trench Town is where Bob & Rita Marley lived when the Wailers were formed and their first album Catch A Fire was recorded. Located at 6 and 8 Lower First Street, Trench Town, Culture Yard is a must-see if you’re a Marley fan. It’s 13.7 km away from Callie’s and can be reached in a 16-minute drive.
This is the perfect destination for history buffs and maritime adventurer enthusiasts. Learn about the devastating earthquake of 1692, and the pirates that overran the City!

For an awesome day-trip, visit Dolphin Cove in Ocho Rios, JA. It is 78 km from Callie’s, a little less than 2 hours away by car. Frolic with dolphins or ride in a glass bottom boat to see sharks and stingrays. Then, take a gander at pirates!
Right next to Dolphin Cove is Dunns River Falls and Park. It’s one of Jamaica’s national treasures. Plan for two days of fun! Watch beautiful waterfalls or climb up the cliff to have an exhilarating jump from whatever level feels comfortable to you. Most of all, steep yourself in the sunshine and culture of Jamaica’s reggae scene.
Need pampering? Look no further. Milk River, in Manchester Parish, has a refreshing mineral spring. The water temperature is always between 90 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit all year round and contains high levels of magnesium, calcium, sulfate, and natural chloride. This river is perfect for relieving the stresses of everyday life.

Located at 26 Hope Road in Kingston (not too far from the Bob Marley Museum!), it is also a 30-min drive from Callie’s. Choose between more than 20 ice cream flavors. With huge portions and yummy flavors, it’s the best ice cream in all of Jamaica. Well, that’s what we think!
Want gorgeous ocean views? Excellent fresh fried fish? You’ve got to go to Helshire Beach. It’s only 8.8 km from Callie’s, a 12-min drive away. The water’s so clear and blue and the rules? None. Go and lively up yourself at Helshire Beach.
Fort Clarence Beach
Also nearby Callies, Fort Clarence Beach is 8.1 km away can be reached by an 11-min drive. It’s a great beach to get away from it all and just relax.
